As the world celebrates women in entrepreneurship, American Underground had its own celebration, with bagels, coffee and a “fireside” conversation between Vickie Gibbs of Albright Digital and Jody Porowski of Avelist.
The women are at different points in their career—Gibbs held numerous roles in startups before taking the helm of Albright and Porowski is a first-time CEO. But each shared their stories—creating a dialogue about the challenges of early stage startups and tales of fundraising, building teams and the wins along the way.
