IBM Chairman and CEO Ginny Rometty has become the third female member of the prestigious Augusta National Golf Club, according to Golf Digest.

Augusta is host of the annual Masters Tournament, and IBM is a key sponsor.

Two Augusta National members told Golf Digest that Rometty “was seen hitting balls at the range last Friday at the club.”

“She has a nice swing,” one member told the publication.

Added Golf Digest: “Rometty was observed being congratulated by other members and seemed “a little nervous” in front of club chairman Billy Payne.”

IBM (NYSE: IBM) declined comment.

Augusta named its first two female members in 2012: Former Secretary of State Condeleezza Rice and philanthropist Daria Moore.

Rometty became IBM’s first female chief executive earlier that year but was not invited to become a member. IBM chief executives traditionally had been invited by the private club to become members.

The club did not respond to requests for comment, according to various media reports.
