The Research Triangle will be well represented at the upcoming Southeast Venture Conference in Atlanta with numerous firms already selected to be among the “pitchers” at the two-day event.
But so will numerous other states with nearly 50 companies selected so far as “showcase companies.”
The SEVC is set for May 6-7 at the Ritz Carlton.

Advanced Animal Diagnostics, Inc. was founded in 2001, has raised $17M, and is based in Durham, North Carolina.

Aloe is an early-stage firm that allows people to make face-to-face video conference calls with a doctor 24/7. Using Aloe, parents are able to consult with a pediatrician via video and get a fast diagnosis. Aloe is based in Atlanta, GA.

Headquartered in Norcross, GA, the company has raised over $21M to date.
