The next Startup Grind Meetup will be Jan. 22 at the American Tobacco Campus.
Medfusion CEO Stephen Malik will be the featured speaker at the event. Malik founded Medfusion in 2000 and guided the company to a 2010 acquisition by Intuit for $91 million. Malik last year acquired Medfusion from Intuit with plans to grow the company. Malik, who is a limited partner in several venture funds, will talk about his career and his vision for the Triangle as a health IT center.
The meetup, at the theater on the American Tobacco Campus, starts at 6 p.m. with networking and food followed by Malik’s talk at 7 p.m.
