Natural pest control products company TyraTech (AIM:TYR) is now slated to launch its head lice treatment in March through the nation’s largest retailer, Walmart.

The Morrisville company announced the targeted launch for the product Vamousse on Tuesday.

No financial terms of the partnership with Walmart were disclosed. But the company pegs the annual U.S. market for head lice treatment at more than $150 million.

“I am delighted to report that TyraTech’s breakthrough technology and innovative products are capturing the attention of major retailers,” CEO Bruno Jactel said in a statement. “This is our most important milestone to date as it will significantly raise the profile of TyraTech’s brands in the US, helping us further expand our market penetration and market share.”

The privately held firm raised $4.6 million in new capital for a marketing push last April.

TyraTech already has a relationship with another major U.S. retailer for another pest control product. The company’s pesticide Terminix has been available at The Home Depot since 2012.

TyraTech was founded in 2004 based on research from the Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center. The company has developed pesticide technologies made from natural active ingredients with applications for humans as well as livestock.

TyraTech’s natural pesticide targets a receptor found in invertebrates. That receptor is not active in humans, so the pesticide is safe for people.
