Joan Siefert Rose, president at CED, will be taking a three-month sabbatical from leading the organization, starting June 14.
Siefert Rose took over as president of CED in 2008.
The sabbatical was approved by the CED Board of Directors earlier in the year.
Miriam Wilson, development director at CED, will be leading the organization in Siefert Rose’s absence.
Siefert Rose will return in early September, just prior to CED’s Tech Venture Conference.
On sabbatical, she will travel to Europe with her husband, a middle school teacher at Carolina Friends School.
