INC Research has a new chief information officer.

Sal Chiovari, an information technology veteran, was named to the post this week.

Chiovari served most recently in IT posts at Primedia Corp. and Baxter International. He earned a degree in business management at the University of Illinois.

INC recently expanded its range of service offerings with a Strategic Advisory group.

The company works with life science clients to provide Phase 1-4 clinical trial development services across much of the world.
