Networking giant Cisco has named another new boss for its Collaboration Technology Group.

A former Symantec executive, Rowan Trollope, is joining Cisco (Nasdaq: CSCO) to run the unit, according to news service reports.

The group includes TelePresence, Unified Communications Manager and WebEx.

Cisco operates its second largest campus in RTP with some 5,000 employees.

Trollope replaces O.J. Winge, who was senior vice president and general manager for Cisco Collaboration Technology. He is leaving for “personal reasons,” Cisco said.

In a blog post, Cisco Senior Vice President Marthin De Beer hailed Trollope, who will report to him.

“Rowan is an engineer at heart, and he has consistently demonstrated a passion for technology and user experience throughout his long and distinguished career at Symantec,” De Beer wrote.

Barry O’Sullivan had led the Cisco group until replaced by Winge.

Winge had joined Cisco when Cisco acquired Tandberg, a videoconferencing technology firm.
