GREENVILLE, S.C. – The ninth annual InnoVenture 2012 conference will be held May 8 and 9, 2012 in Greenville, SC. We are seeking passionate individuals from inside major corporations, middle market companies, independent entrepreneurial companies, or academic centers, to make short presentations about their visions to create high growth business opportunities to a diverse audience who has access to needed customers, capital, talent and technology.

Contact JohnWarner@InnoVentureLLC.com to apply to present.

We have numerous examples of success over the years:

Matt Gevaert from Clemson found Michael Bolick at InnoVenture to commercialize Clemson’s technology. Michael worked closely with the Nanocenter at USC and the Greenville Hospital System to develop the technology. He received funding from SC Launch, and was introduced by Nexus Medical Partners to Lab21. Michael is now building Lab21’s North American headquarters and personalized medicine lab in Greenville.

Frank Greer and Ralph Heredia spun out of NCR and started Zipit. They attracted an investor they met at InnoVenture, Grady Vanderhoofven of Meritus Ventures, and also received funding from SC Launch. Today are partnering with Verizon to reinvent paging in mission critical applications nationwide.

Ralph Hulseman was InnoVenture’s first corporate partner at Michelin. He founded Hoowaki to spin surface transformation technology out of Michelin, which has benefited from $2 million in external R&D funding, including from SC Launch.

Tom Strange at St. Jude Medical found Ralph at InnoVenture and became one of his most significant early customers, because Hoowaki technology is a potential game changer for St. Jude.

Can you or someone you know benefit from presenting a new business opportunity to find the customers, capital, talent or technology you need to succeed?
