RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. – Companies looking to help and its partners expand the statewide N.C. Research and Education Network can review requests for proposals that are open through March 15.

The RFPs can be found

MCNC is seeking assistance with engineering, design and environmental work related to the project. More RFPs will be announced in the near future.

The MCNC project recently received $28.2 million in federal funding through the U.S. Department of Commerce’s National Telecommunications and Information Administration’s (NTIA) Broadband Technologies Opportunities Program (BTOP) and raised $11.7 million in matching funds.
