CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Custom application development and consulting firms Customer Connect and StreamLogic have merged to form a new venture,

The privately held venture will offer a variety of services focused on cloud computing applications, consulting, Web 2.0 strategies, Microsoft .NET, SharePoint as well as Microsoft and Salesforce customer relationship management.

Financial terms of the merger were not disclosed.

The firms had worked on projects in the past.

“We have been working with StreamLogic for nearly two years prior to this merger,” said Geoff Ables, one of the managing partners of C5 Insight, who ran Customer Connect. “From the very beginning it was clear that blending our firms would result in even greater value to our customers and greater stability to our 9 year old business.”

Added Curtis Hughes of StreamLogic: “When we initially partnered with Customer Connect, we were thrilled to find another firm that shared our vision of excellence and customer service. Extending the StreamLogic skill-set of custom application development and SharePoint to include the Microsoft and Salesforce CRM platforms was a natural next step for us to take.” Hughes also is a managing partner of the merged firm.
