Kekas, CEO and co-founder, is a former IBM Division Director with 30-plus years of managing the development of disruptive technologies, including optical scanners. He is currently the Executive Director of NC State University’s Networking Technology Institute.
Escuti is a leading liquid crystal display expert pioneering the development of polarization independent devices. As Assistant Professor Electrical and Computer Engineering at NC State University, he currently directs experimental and theoretical research within the Opto-electronics and Lightwave Engineering Group.
Jason Kekas is an experienced engineer having developed optical products at IBM, Lucent Technologies and LightSpin Technologies. He is presently a PhD candidate at NC State University. His research interests include electro-optic materials for use in high performance displays, holographic video and 3D displays. He has two U.S. patents granted or pending.
