Simtrol, a software technology company specializing in audio/visual control, says that a longtime Fortune 100 customer in the aerospace/defense industry has signed an expanded annual service contract worth $140,000.

The contract provides around-the-clock service for 35 videoconferencing systems and Simtrol’s control system technology. Simtrol Chief Executive Rick Egan released a statement about the contract extension but didn’t disclose the identity of the customer.

“This customer is beginning to upgrade from our first generation control software to our new ONGOER software,” Egan said. “To ensure a smooth transition, we will continue to provide our high-quality service for our older platform by utilizing the rich remote diagnostics built into our control software, while helping them implement new ONGOER applications.”

Simtrol develops, manufactures, markets and supports CycleFree software based A/V control systems and videoconferencing products that operate on PC platforms. The company’s customers include information technology and audio/visual integrators that provide solutions to Fortune 1000 corporations, governmental agencies, health care providers and educational institutions.
