Raleigh-based Castle Information Systems lowers the drawbridge on $500K

Castle Information Systems Inc., a web and mobile app company, has raised more than $500,000 of an $800,000 equity offering, according to an SEC fling.

Last year the company sold $875,000 in equity via an angel deal in August, and had a $125,000 offering in 2011.

The company’s Bierbal app lets users send news and information to their communities and groups.

It’s web site includes only contact information.Founded in 2010, it was previously known as Swamp Castle.
