N.C. State University is giving full industry access to its researchers on Feb. 6, which will be the university’s first Access Day forum.

The event allows industry representatives to meet with faculty, learn about ongoing research and form partnerships that solve difficult technological and scientific problems. More than 50 projects will be showcased at the event in a range of areas include health and well-being, energy and environment, and safety and security.

The event will feature a keynote address by Joseph DeSimone, the founder of Research Triangle Park-based Liquidia Technologies and the William R. Kenan Jr. Distinguished Professor of Chemical Engineering at N.C. State and Chancellor’s Eminent Professor of Chemistry at UNC-Chapel Hill.

Access Day is hosted by the College of Sciences Foundation and sponsored by BASF, LORD Corporation and the Kenan Institute for Engineering, Technology and Science at N.C. State. For more information and to register, go here.
