Emilio Ghilardi, the president of Lenovo North America, tells channel sales partners to “stay with us” as the global tech giant seeks to revitalize its server, PC and wireless phone businesses. He puts special emphasis on data center sales and services, a business group Lenovo bases in the Triangle.

“Stay with us. You’re going to get growth, and you’re going to get simple strategies that we can execute together,” Ghilardi told the more than 1,200 Lenovo partners at a conference this week in Orlando, according to CRN.

Numerous management and structural changes have hindered the server-focused business over the past two years while smartphone sales have fallen and Lenovo has lost its global PC sales lead to HP, according to one tech analysis firm.
