Atlas Principals, an investment firm in Charlotte, has raised big dollars from 31 investors.
The firm, led by Shawn Wilfong, Seth Wilfong and Andrew Aguilera, has raised nearly $7 million in an ongoing fund raiser for its Snowball Master Fund.
According to a securities filing, Atlas has closed on additional capital from investors whom each contributed at least $500,000.
The total fund raise for the Snowball fund is now $31.4 million.
As of Sept. 8 in 2016, the fund had reached $24.2 million.
According to information provided to LinkedIn, Atlas is “an investment partnership focused on opportunistic long and short investments. The partnership focuses on uncorrelated absolute returns rather than relative performance. We focus our efforts on domestic and global equities, and look to capitalize on behavioral driven price dislocations.”
Atlas launched in 2010.
