Premium Lock NCSU picks Wake Tech president for education honor

Wake Technical Community College President Stephen Scott, a strong advocate for high-tech and biotech workforce development, recently received the I.E. ready Award from North Carolina State University.

The award, named after the first director of the N.C. Community College System, is given by NCSU’s Department of Adult and Higher Education. Honorees are selected for their contributions to higher education.

Among the reasons cited for Scott’s selection was his role in establishing the BioNetwork Capstone Center at NCSU for bio workforce training.
