Military veteran entrepreneurs will soon have access to free incubator space in an incubator created by The Bunker RDU, part of a national non-profit organization.
The Raleigh News and Observer reports that Bunker RDU, part of a Chicago-based network of incubators, expects to start working with a group of 15 to 20 veteran run startups early next year.
Bunker RDU will provide six months of free space to entrepreneurs with a military background early next year. That includes a four-month entrepreneur in residence program, also free, and daily access to mentors and advisors provided by Groundwork Labs and HQ Raleigh.
The Research Triangle Park Foundation is providing about 1,500-square-feet free space to Bunker RDU in the five-story building The Frontier. Entrepreneurs will also have access to co-working space on the first floor of the building.
