The profile of the startups and the business climate of Wilmington has never been higher.
Sure, the extension of I-40 East to Wilmington was a big deal. And the relocation of PPD was a huge deal. But now Wilmington has diversified its local economy. And it has let PBS TV, the Raleigh media and the Atlanta media help tell its stories.
So, the Network for Entrepreneurs in Wilmington has invited four communications and marketing professionals to help you tell your stories:
- Sarah Glova – a UNCW graduate, founder of Reify Media and writer for WRAL TechWire
- Chuck Hester – co-founder of A Purposeful Partnership and head of communications for iContact
- Nannette Stangle-Castor – founder of IVT, a strategic communications firm
- Moderator: Margaret McNab – marketing director, formerly with LaunchBio and founder of the Freelance League of North Carolina
