GREENSBORO – Boom Supersonic, which recently broke ground for its aircraft factory in the Triad, has a new investor – Momentum Ventures, which is based in Canada.

“Our investment in Boom Supersonic is a reflection of our belief in the power of innovation to transform the travel industry,” said Matt Keezer, CEO of Momentum Ventures. “Boom Supersonic is pushing the boundaries of what’s possible with aviation technology, and we are excited to be part of their journey.”

The amount of the investment was not disclosed.

The investment was made in 2017.

Boom, which is based in Colorado, plans to invest $500 million in the factory.
