A house that sold for $3.7 million tops the list of the most expensive residential real estate sales in Raleigh in the past week.

In total, 70 residential real estate sales were recorded in the area during the past week, with an average price of $578,679, $265 per square foot.

That’s nearly $25,000 more than the average Wake County sales price of $555,329 in September, according to Triangle MLS data. A year ago the average price was $537,000.
