CHARLOTTE – Greensboro native
Joey Cheek has been named executive vice president of entrepreneurship at the Greensboro Chamber of Commerce.
He won the gold medal in the men’s 500-meter speedskating event at the 2006 Winter Olympics.
Cheek has spent the past decade in the tech and startup world building technology for Fortune 100 companies and launching a company.
