NC Chamber’s Workplace DEI Conference convenes C-suite executives and human resources professionals to discuss diversity programs, unconscious bias, recruitment, retention and other relevant topics.

1 Million Cups Lake Norman

Every Wednesday morning, entrepreneurs in the Lake Norman area join to present their companies to mentors, advisers and other startups. Join to meet new people and collaborate with fellow entrepreneurs.

1 Million Cups Charlotte

Held weekly, 1 Million Cups Charlotte features a presentation from a local startup followed by a Q&A from the community.

1 Million Cups Fayetteville

Sept. 27, 9 a.m. @Fayetteville Tech Community College

Entrepreneurs in Fayetteville are welcome to attend 1 Million Cups every Wednesday to present their ventures and meet other founders in the area.

1 Million Cups Wilmington

This weekly event brings together entrepreneurs in the Wilmington and Cape Fear community to gather for coffee, casual startup pitches and conversation.

1 Million Cups Asheville

Asheville’s startup community meets weekly to hear pitches from local founders and network with peers, investors and business leaders.

NC TECH Summit for Women in Tech

Sept. 27–28 @New Bern Riverfront Convention Center

NC TECH will host a two-day summit with women tech leaders sharing their journeys and efforts to shift the paradigm.

Venture Atlanta 2023 [in Georgia]

Sept. 27–28 @Woodruff Arts Center & Atlanta Symphony Hall

Venture Atlanta is one of the biggest venture conferences in the country. Startups can pitch on stage, meet investors and mentors, and participate in discussions on the latest trends. (Note: Although this event is held in Atlanta, we’re including it here because it’s a hot destination for North Carolina startups.)
