RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK – Looking for a new job in the Triangle? These 50 companies are hiring.

The “Top 50” firms that TechWire tracks are a barometer of what’s happening in the Triangle tech sector, and all 50 companies on the list are showing job openings in the Triangle this week.

Looking ahead to this fall, there are multiple job fairs slated in the Triangle, WRAL TechWire reported on Monday.

Overall, job postings have been down in the Triangle—but companies tracked on the Top 50 showed over 1,800 openings this week.

Fidelity Investments once again showed the most openings (256 postings), but Apple (Corporate) added the most positions, increasing by +50 this week (70 total postings).

Other companies with over 100 job postings this week include First Citizens (111) and Grifols (107).

More IT-related openings with the NC Government

WRAL TechWire also has an exclusive roundup of job openings within NC government, and there are nine new IT-related job openings this week.

As of August 28, 2023, data tracked by TechWire’s exclusive jobs report shows:

  • 56 job openings (+7 from last week) in IT-related positions with the North Carolina state government (1,210 jobs total, +70 from last week)
  • 9 job openings (+2 from last week) in IT-related positions with Wake County government (57 jobs total, +2 from last week)
  • 2 job openings (no change from last week) in IT-related positions with the City of Raleigh government (112 jobs total, +25 from last week)
