CHARLOTTE – Spectrum will add another 200 new call center workers and management positions by the end of the year to its new call center on Sardis Road in Charlotte.

The cable services and internet provider already employs more than 5,400 workers in the Charlotte area, and almost 12,000 in the state.

The new call center workers will handle calls from current residential and small business customers across Connecticut-based Spectrum’s current 41-state service area.

“Spectrum continues to demonstrate what more and more companies are realizing every day: North Carolina is an ideal place to grow business,” says state Sen. Rachel Hunt, D-Mecklenburg, in a statement from the company.
