RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK – Despite job postings in the Triangle falling to historic lows this week, many top Triangle companies are still hiring, according to TechWire’s exclusive jobs report.
Collectively, the Top 50 firms that TechWire tracks as a barometer of what’s happening in the Triangle tech sector showed over 2,000 openings.
Job openings in Triangle continue to fall, hitting new low for 16th time in ’23
Eaton showed 69 Triangle-area openings this week and Wolfspeed added 12 jobs since last week, to highlight some of the weekly job activity.
Cisco and Grifols also added jobs.

IT-Related openings with the NC GOVERNMENT

As of July 10, 2023, data tracked by TechWire's exclusive jobs report shows:
- 83 job openings in IT-related positions with the North Carolina state government (1,164 jobs total)
- 4 job openings in IT-related positions with Wake County government (56 jobs total)
- 6 job openings in IT-related positions with the City of Raleigh government (93 jobs total)
