Apple has revealed new site plans for the construction of its Research Triangle Park campus that could house more than 3,000 workers.
WRAL News obtained a site plan for the area where Apple intends to build its RTP campus at Louis Stephens Drive north of Interstate 540.
The plans include six buildings with a total of more than 700,000 square-feet of office space and 3,000 parking spaces all on 41 acres.
Apple has not disclosed when construction will begin.

In 2021, Apple announced plans to build an East Coast campus at RTP, creating at least 3,000 jobs.
In January, WRAL News reported that Apple’s attorney had asked the county for confidentiality as plans moved forward.
Earlier in June, WRAL News obtained an initial application showing plans for a 324,000-square-foot office, calling for professional space with buildings up to 73 feet tall, roughly 6 to 8 stories. Apple filed the site work plans on May 30 in order to start moving dirt.
For context, 324,000 square feet is about twice the size of the average Walmart Supercenter.
Apple was previously awarded $1.2 billion in an incentive package from the state.
Apple announced plans for the $1 billion-plus campus and engineering hub in the spring of 2021 with intentions of creating thousands of high-paying jobs in the Triangle over a five-year period.
The site consists of approximately 281 acres located adjacent to Louis Stephens Drive and Little Drive in Wake County on the south end of RTP.
WRAL obtained more than two dozen records that reveal Apple started applying for permits with Wake County in August 2022. Those include permits related to stormwater and clearing 41 acres of land to start construction.
