CHARLOTTE – Automation Intellect, a startup focusing on analysis of machine data to improve performance, has closed out 2022 with nearly $1 million in new funding.

So says an SEC filing.

Founded in 2016 by Brad DeMarco, Kurt Lueck and Bruce Wilkinson, the Charlotte-based firm collects and monitors machine data, providing companies with insights to improve machine performance.

Nine investors participated in the round which fell just short of its $1 million goal at $997,000.

The round is all for equity in the company.

Among its backers is Cary-based Cofounders Capital.
