CARY – Epic Games will have some high-powered in-person support from the Department of Justice in its ongoing antitrust legal battle with Apple.
The DOJ has received permission to make a presentation during a hearing set for the case on Oct. 21, AppleInsider reports. It notes that the DOJ is “expected to repeat prior claims that Apple’s victory could harm antitrust enforcement.”
Apple banned Epic Games’ global hit title Fortnite from Apple’s app store, triggering Epic’s suit.
