RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK – IBM has settled a lawsuit filed by sales reps who claimed that they were shortchanged on commissions.

The settlement is for $4.75 million and will be distributed among some 1,500 sales reps, reports Jane Mundy at Laws and Settlements.com.

“This settlement resolves allegations that IBM sales representatives were stiffed hundreds of thousands of dollars in commissions after going back on its purported promises—and a written commitment — that commissions wouldn’t be capped,” Mundy wrote.
