RALEIGH – Triangle employers continue to seek talented workers to fill thousands of open Triangle jobs including nearly 3,600 roles at 26 notable companies with a presence in the region.

But that is a slight drop overall from the prior week. Overall, the current number of openings at the firms tracked by the WRAL TechWire Jobs Report has fallen by 201 openings since a month ago.

Still, there are many job openings currently available at some of the Triangle’s most notable employers. Here’s the latest on how many jobs are available as of Monday morning, with any significant week-over-week changes noted:

  • Amazon: 100 job openings in the Triangle, though some roles can be done remotely, according to the company’s career page
  • *Apple (corporate roles): 95 job openings in the Triangle, according to the company’s career page
  • Bandwidth: 27 job openings in Raleigh, according to the company’s career page
  • *Cisco: 195 job openings in Research Triangle Park, according to the company’s career page, down from 212 openings last week
  • *Citrix: 4 job openings in Raleigh, according to the company’s career page, down from 25 last week.
  • *Eli Lilly: 38 job openings in Research Triangle Park, according to the company’s career page
  • Fidelity Investments: 590 job openings in Durham, according to the company’s career page
  • *FUJIFILM Diosynth Biotechnologies: 53 job openings in the Triangle, according to the company’s career page.  That’s down from 74 openings last week.
  • *Google: 240 jobs openings in Durham (that’s down 31 openings from last week and down 131 openings the prior week), according to the company’s career page, and 13 with Google Fiber 
  • IBM: 2 job openings in RTP, according to the company’s career page, though the company reported quarterly earnings in July and did say it would continue to hire earlier this month.
  • *IQVIA: 441 job openings in RTP, according to the company’s career page
  • Kyndryl: 116 job openings in RTP, according to the company’s career page
  • *Labcorp: 236 job openings in Burlington (headquarters), according to the company’s career page, down from 266 openings last week
  • Lenovo: 313 job openings in Morrisville, according to the company’s career page
  • MetLife: 138 job openings in Cary, according to the company’s career page.  MetLife previously told WRAL TechWire that it planned to hire 400 workers by New Year’s Day.
  • Microsoft: 24 job openings in Raleigh, according to the company’s career page
  • *NetApp: 197 job openings in the Triangle (up from 169 job openings last week), according to the company’s career page
  • *Novo Nordisk: 179 jobs in the Triangle, according to the company’s career page
  • *Novartis: 8 job openings in the Triangle, according to the company’s career page.  Novartis will be closing its manufacturing plant in Wilson, the company announced last week.
  • Pendo: 4 job openings in Raleigh, according to the company’s career page
  • Red Hat: 27 job openings in Raleigh, according to the company’s career page, up from 9 openings two weeks ago.  Red Hat is owned by IBM.
  • RTI International: 148 job openings in Durham, according to the company’s career page
  • SAS: 142 job openings in Cary, according to the company’s career page
  • *Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions: 62 job openings in Durham, according to the company’s career page, though a spokesperson for the company told WRAL TechWire in August that the firm plans to hire 200 workers by the end of the year.
  • *Wolfspeed: 201 job openings in Durham, according to the company’s career page.  CEO Gregg Lowe confirmed to WRAL TechWire that the company is considering at least one possible site location in North Carolina for an expansion project that could easily be in excess of $1 billion.
