RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK – Technology firms and other companies across the Triangle region are continuing to hire, helping to drive the North Carolina unemployment rate to well under 4% according to the latest data. Here are openings at several Triangle tech firms as of Sunday evening:

  • IBM: Hundreds of jobs in RTP/Durham
  • Lenovo: 287 jobs in Morrisville
  • Pendo: 50 openings in Raleigh
  • Red Hat60 openings in Raleigh; 88 remote openings in North Carolina
  • SAS: 140 openings in Cary

But two of the area’s top job sites for leads show that not just technology companies are hiring:

Triangle Region Job Board

Leadership Triangle, Raleigh Founded and American Underground teamed up to create the Triangle Region Job Board, which synthesizes all of the openings posted on the organizations’ job boards. 

Good news for job seekers: Local hiring activity picks up, data show

As of Sunday evening, the site shows 2,187 jobs at 98 companies. The latest Triangle-area openings (excluding remote jobs) come from the following employers:

  • Raleigh Founded (Raleigh)
  • Self-Help Credit Union (Durham)
  • Spreedly (Durham)
  • TraKid (Durham)
  • Truist (multiple locations in the Triangle)
  • Veeva Systems (Raleigh)
  • Wild Earth (Raleigh)
  • William Peace University (Raleigh)

Work in the Triangle

Work in the Triangle, a Wake County Economic Development program, regularly shares new openings through its Twitter feed, @WorkTriangleNC. The program recently launched a job board on its website, with 12,134 active openings as of Sunday evening. Of those, 9,485 are technology jobs, 1,505 are advanced manufacturing positions, 390 are in cleantech and 754 are in life sciences.
