DURHAM – Wranglesoft, a startup launched two years ago by veterans of Automated Insights, has landed more than $2 million from investors, according to an SEC filing made Monday.

The company secured eight backers for an offering of $2,049,975, the filing notes.

Adam Smith, one of the cofounders and the firm’s president, signed the filing.

UNC-Chapel Hill grads Adam Smith and Adam Long launched the venture, which focuses on workflows.

The company has three employees, according to its LinkedIn page.
