12 North Carolina headquartered companies make Newsweek’s ‘Most Responsible’ list

RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK – Twelve companies headquartered in North Carolina appear in the top 500 companies in the nation for environmental, social, and governance metrics, according to a new rankings report released by Newsweek.

The report, which ranks the “Most Responsible Companies 2022” includes North Carolina headquartered companies:

Lowe’s Companies, ranking 43rd overall and 2nd in the “retail” category
Duke Energy, ranking 132nd overall and 13th in the “utilities” category
CommScope, ranking 157th overall and 26th in the “technology hardware” category
Albermarle, ranking 171st overall and 20th in the “materials and chemicals” category
SPX, ranking 176th overall and 12th in the “capital goods” category
Tanger Factory Outlet Centers, ranking 212th overall and 13th in the “real estate and housing” category
Bank of America, ranking 254th overall and 22nd in the “financial” category
Labcorp, ranking 353rd overall and 32nd in “health care and life sciences” category
Honeywell, ranking 384th overall and 38th in the “technology hardware” category
Wolfspeed, ranking 387th overall and 39th in the “technology hardware” category
Sealed Air, ranking 475th overall and 37th in the “consumer goods” category
Advance Auto Parts, ranking 479th overall and 21 in the “automotive” category
