RALEIGH – Citrix is restructuring, and will eliminate about 50 full-time positions, less than ten percent of the employee population, Karen Master, a spokesperson for the company confirmed to Capitol Broadcasting Company.

The company announced what Master called “”a margin improvement program designed to position us for more predictable and profitable growth going forward” on Nov. 4.  The company Board of Directors approved the restructuring program, said Master, including the elimination of the full-time positions.

“We carefully examined our entire workforce and identified the roles and org structures we need to deliver on our strategy to help customers accelerate their IT modernization, enable secure distributed work and boost worker productivity,” said Master.  “In some cases, employees may be shifted to new roles where they would focus on our key or new investment areas, and in others, positions will be eliminated to ensure we operate as efficiently as possible.”
