RALEIGH & DURHAM – WeWork is expanding its pay-as-you-go service, called WeWork On Demand, to two locations in the Triangle: One Glenwood in Raleigh and One City Center in Durham.
The company piloted the program in New York City in August 2020.
A spokesperson for the company told WRAL TechWire that the purpose of the program is to offer anyone flexibility in scheduling or gaining access to workspace and meeting rooms at the WeWork locations that provide this program.
The spokesperson noted the program is now available in more than 30 U.S. cities, which now includes Raleigh and Durham.
The program is run through a mobile app, On Demand, on iPhone and Android, and pricing starts at $29/day with meeting rooms available at $10/hour.
WeWork closed one of the locations it operated in the Triangle, Durham.ID, at the end of 2020.
