RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK — Looking for a job or internship in high tech? There’s plenty of demand in the Triangle and across the state. One example of the increasing demand for high tech workers?  Take the more than 1,000 positions that are available at companies participating in Wednesday’s virtual tech job expo presented by the North Carolina Technology Association.

The virtual expo event, held from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., features virtual booths with more 20 employers like Allscripts, Ally, Channel Advisor, Deutsche Bank, Dude Solutions, Google, insightsoftware, LexisNexis, First Citizens Bank, Toshiba Global Commerce, Wake Technical Community College, and more.

insightsoftware buys yet another analytics firm — has now made 18 acquisitions in 3 years

The participating companies and organizations are hiring across a variety of positions, from software development to IT and support to sales and marketing to engineering and data science.

And that’s just the beginning. Every Monday, WRAL TechWire compiles the latest information from the region’s top job boards, offering a breakdown of how many jobs are posted, which companies are hiring and for what positions.

We’ve also included upcoming job fairs, student-centric resources and a list of Twitter accounts that track local job openings.

Let’s highlight what’s new on the job boards since last week’s Jobs Report:
