FAYETTEVILLE – Powerhome solar is opening a new operation in Fayetteville and the company needs more workers to run it.

Fifty, in fact.

“Powerhome plans to hire up to 50 installers and warehouse staff. No prior experience is necessary as the company offers on-the-job training,” a company spokesperson says. Interviews begin Sept. 22.

The company provides solar panels and energy efficiency services.

Based in Mooresville, Powerhome is adding its fourth office in North Carolina. The fast-growing company, which launched in 2014, has made the INC 500 list for fastest growing privately held companies in three of the last four years.

“We’ve experienced incredible growth in North Carolina and word is spreading quickly about the financial and environmental benefits of solar energy,” said Jayson Waller, the firm’s CEO. “We need enthusiastic, driven people to join our team to help us continue to build the solar movement.”
