A marketing campaign launched to lure Amazon to North Carolina incorrectly claimed that one of the key keystrokes in computing was invented here.

The North Carolina based-agency Mythic created bus advertisements that rolled the streets of Seattle (home to the current and only Amazon HQ) touting North Carolina as the birthplace of Ctrl+Alt+Delete.

The keystroke combo was created by former IBM engineer David Bradley who moved to North Carolina in 1995. But Bradley actually invented Ctrl+Alt+Delete in 1981 while living in Florida.

It looks like that ad needs Ctrl+Z.
