ChannelAdvisor is reaching into the executive ranks at Lenovo to hire a leader for its global services team.

The ecommerce services firm on Tuesday announced the hiring of Beth Segovia as vice president for services.

That team is responsible for launch, technical support, account management, and managed services.

“Beth’s commitment to customer success is unparalleled. She has both the depth of experience in services and customer management and the drive to lead our global services organization to enable our customers to be successful,” said David Spitz, ChannelAdvisor’s CEO, in a statement. “Beth brings both passion and intellectual curiosity to the role, and we’re excited to have her join our executive team.”

Segovia most recently was executive director for customer engagement & services business development at Lenovo. She previously had worked at IBM.

Segovia received an undergraduate degree in Industrial Engineering from Northwestern University and a Masters of Science in Manufacturing Systems Engineering from Lehigh University.
