Steve Batts, a contractor for 19 years, is the driving force behind a tech platform that he says addresses a crucial pain point in his own industry: Protecting customer and contractor data during the course of a project.
His startup is called Ethitrans.
“We are changing the way that business relationships are managed. By creating a platform to clearly set goals, retain all documents, and communication. In a simple format,” Batts says.
“Using tools for communication that are not the norm.”
Both photos and videos are utilized, the aim being: “[E]veryone gets what they are expecting during the project and in the end. Creating better customer relationships while making more money.”
Based in Greensboro, Ethitrans will be demonstrating its solution at the CED Tech Venture Conference in Raleigh on Sept. 19-20.
