K4Connect 

This Internet of Things startup packs the latest in smart technology into a single system to assist older adults and individuals living with disabilities. The company is seeking to hire new employees in engineering, marketing, operations and product design. Read the descriptions here. 

General Assembly

Since its humble beginnings as a coworking space in 2011, NYC-based General Assembly has grown into a global education community that help students build in-demand skills in technology and innovation, while connecting them to possible future employers and professional alumni. The company is opening a campus in Raleigh this fall and is on the hunt for a city lead to raise awareness and build operations for market expansion. More on the position here. 

FilterEasy 

This Raleigh startup, founded in 2012 by two NC State students, is changing how consumers manage their air filters. The company provides an online subscription service for air filters to be delivered straight to your door just when it’s time to change them. After raising funds earlier this year, FilterEasy needs a senior enterprise sales lead with experience selling commoditized products to help grow its subscription offerings. Read more and apply here. 

Zift Solutions

Zift, which raised a large VC round last year, works with clients like Red Hat, HP and Autodesk to coordinate marketing initiatives with channel partners and boost sales. Windsor Circle

We’re liking this job title over at Windsor Circle, a fast-growing marketing automation startup in Durham: Diamond in the Rough. It’s referring to a really awesome salesperson who may not have any sales training at all. Stealz 

Raleigh-based Stealz is a rewards platform that lets businesses offer incentives to customers in return for tweeting, leaving feedback or posting a photo on Instagram. With Stealz’s analytics platform, businesses can gather insights on data like customer demographics and social interaction. As it grows its user base, the startup is hiring four new team members in marketing, sales, account management and software development. Get the details here.

After landing 40 big-name customers like Microsoft and scoring a $525,000 from investors, this Durham hologram startup is launching growth plans. It’s looking to add a lead software engineer, UX director, production manager and business development manager to its team. Check out the details here. 

TransLoc

The team that is revolutionizing transit with apps, on-demand transportation options and powerful analytics for public transit agencies is expanding quickly, with five RTP positions in leadership, operations and product engineering. Read job descriptions here. 

PlotWatt 

This Durham cleantech startup has a cloud-based web application that tracks and analyzes appliance usage by location. The data provides simple recommendations on ways to reduce energy on a daily basis and, ultimately, save money on energy bills. Duke Innovation Co-Lab

This creativity incubator at Duke empowers students to explore emerging technology as a means to achieve the university’s research, academic and service missions. The program does this by providing students with innovation grants, community connection events and technical resources that include access to university data. Shoeboxed

Shoeboxed makes it easier for small business owners to track and manage their expenses through scanning receipts, bills and other financial documents.
