As AT&T continues to expand its GigaPower high-speed Internet and entertainment network across the Triangle, the communications giant needs workers.
On Friday, AT&T is holding a job fair as it looks to fill more than 80 technician jobs.
Some applicants could receive tentative job offers on the spot.
“Bring your valid driver’s license for identification verification,” the company says.
“If applicable, you will have the option to test and interview on-site, so plan for 2-3 hours.”
AT&T is deploying a fiber-optic network across the Triangle.
In particular need are installation technicians for the GigaPower network.
“AT&T offers paid training, competitive wages and benefits that include medical, dental, paid vacation, career advancement opportunities and more,” the company says.
“While you visit with us, you’ll also have opportunities to apply, test and interview quickly to advance through the process, and if applicable, receive a conditional job offer to be considered to join one of our technician teams in the local metro area as soon as possible.”
The job fair is from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Embassy Suites hotel in Cary.
