Entrepreneurial support organization CED today opened company applications for its annual Life Science Conference, to be held March 1-2, 2016 in Raleigh.

According to materials from CED, there will be two options for companies to showcase at the annual event.

The first option for companies is to be a featured company in the new “Innovation Room,” which will feature more than 60 companies from North Carolina.

The second option for companies is to be a “showcase” company, pitching on the main conference stage.

CED describes the annual event as one of the leading life science gatherings in the nation. According to the organization, nearly 1,000 participants attend the event each year.

The event always showcases the most exciting and innovative NC-based life science companies, reads information on the organization’s website.

According to the organization, attendees will meet innovative thinkers and companies from across the life science landscape, representing biotech, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, digital health, diagnostics, drug delivery, and AgBio.
