Groundwork Labs, the American Underground-based program designed to help boost startups, is accepting applications for its fall program.
The program is “no strings attached” and is free.
The Labs is sponsored by economic development group NC IDEA.
“The Groundwork Labs program is very similar to an accelerator—it provides mentorship, networking opportunities, and visibility for early-stage startups. The important difference is that the program is free and entrepreneurs do not give up equity to attend,” Groundwork says.
“During the program, entrepreneurs will test their idea, business strategy, customer market and hone their pitch in order to prepare for the next step, whether that’s bootstrapping, fundraising, or applying for a competitive accelerator program.
“The ideal candidate will have a product-based idea that has the potential to become a scalable business.”
Applications close Sept. 11.
The program begins Nov. 9.
