Motorola’s chairman recently was ousted in an executive shakeup but the Lenovo company is continuing to develop new products. And website Technobuffalo says it has “leaked” photos of what would be the first smartphone produced under Lenovo’s year-old ownership.

“An anonymous tipster just sent us the photos … which show one of the best looks yet at Motorola’s still unannounced smartphone,” the website reports.

It’s reportedly called the Moto G 2015 model, nicknamed Osprey.

One company you can bet that’s interested is Raleigh-based Republic Wireless, which features Motorola phones.

So what’s the phone pack in terms of capabilities?

“We don’t have confirmation from the source on what to expect on the hardware side of the spectrum, though earlier reports have pointed to a Snapdragon 410 chip, 1GB of RAM and a 5-inch 1280 x 720-pixel display, a 13-megapixel camera and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, 8GB of storage and LTE support,” Technobuffalo says.

No word yet from the “leaker” as to when the phone might hit the market.
