A team of developers led by Longfellow Real Estate Partners from Boston, Duke University and Durham businessman Hank Scherich have unveiled formal plans for the “Durham Innovation District.” The project covers 15 acres just to the west of downtown and saw some great graphics and comments in the Triangle Twittershere today. The growth of the IoT industry – that’s Internet of Things of course, will be big, quick, and profitable. However we’re left with more questions than answers – sparking some conversations online.
