Mark Fronmuller, a veteran utilities executive, is the new president of Elster Solutions.
The business group, which focuses on electric meters and smart grid solutions, is part of energy firm Elster and is based in Raleigh/
Elster announced Fronmuller’s hiring Tuesday.
“We set a very high bar for the best possible candidate to fill this vital role,” said Frank Hyldmar, CEO for Electricity at Elster. “Mark’s background in the energy industry, combined with his track record of organizational development and strong software, hardware and business process integration expertise, make him the ideal leader for Elster Solutions.”
Fronmuller worked most recently at SAIC Energy as senior vice president of global utilities.
