Epic Games will be on the stage again this year at the Spike Video Game Awards in Las Vegas.

But rather than being nominated for a host of awards as has been the case in the past – and with several victories to its credit – the Cary-based video game and game engine technology developer will be showcasing an ad of sorts.

“Gears of War: Judgment” will be one of the featured videos at the game industry’s top awards program/

Judgment, the fourth in the Gears franchise that has sold millions of copies and has produced more than $1 billion in revenue, is due for release next year.
